It took me years of betrayals and lessons to finally realize that not all people are humans in their very existence.

Biologically, they may be categorized as Homo sapiens, but emotionally, intellectually, psychologically, and spiritually, only a few people unlock their human version. It’s not easy being a human.
You have to put a lot of work into upgrading and maintaining the status of humankind. Though sometimes, I believe, being just a “people-y” being takes more effort.
You have to make sure you don’t have an ounce of humanity left inside you. You have to constantly check your heart is blind and your soul is asleep. You have to regularly maintain fake standards of being alive, happy, and superior to other people. You have to make sure you don’t cross any paths with self-discovery and discipline. A heavy lift indeed!

People, people, people — an ocean of people, but I can’t find even a drop of humanity.

Across the desert of this humanoid land, and beyond the veil of flesh and bone, lies an otherworldly experience that we call the soul. Humans have it; people lack it. That’s why some experiences are otherworldly betrayals and lessons, while others are memories to cherish.

I love experiencing humans with souls, but the mere thought of being around people nauseates me.

People drain the life out of my veins — I need humans to feel alive.
