Cardiophoros Neologism Story
I have always believed that if language fails us, we must not settle for silence. We must build.
I am thrilled to announce that my book, Cardiophoros, will be released on May 22, 2026.I coined this word because I was searching for something that could hold the weight of being human, the gut-wrenching heaviness of feeling deeply, of carrying love, memory, grief, and meaning all at once. No existing word felt like enough.
As a poet, I had made a promise to myself: to stay honest to what I feel, even if it meant creating my own dictionary to do it. This book is the fulfillment of that promise. It is an exploration of what we carry, why we carry it, and how that weight shapes the people we become.
Written in a stream-of-consciousness style, this book is a work of confessional writing. Mark your calendars for May 22. I am deeply grateful that you are here to share this moment with me.
