الحبّ يحمل السماوات، ويفتح أبواب الجحيم.
يثني الزمن كما تنحني الشمس عند الغروب، ويبعثر الأقدار كما تفعل الرياح بأوراق الخريف.
Al-ḥubb yaḥmilu as-samāwāt, wa-yaftaḥu abwāba al-jaḥīm. Yuthnī az-zaman kamā tanḥanī ash-shamsu ʿinda al-ghurūb, wa-yubaʿthiru al-aqdār kamā tafʿalu ar-riyāḥ bi-awrāqi al-kharīf.
Love carries the heavens and gates the hells. It bends time as the sun bows at dusk and scatters destinies like the wind with autumn leaves.
— Sadia Hakim
They replaced love with lust and glorified it as a virtue because they fear what love can do to this universe—it can create worlds and destroy them.
It harbors heavens, and it gates hells. It bends time and defies fate.
Love writes destinies in the stars and erases them in a blink. It is the light that blinds and the darkness that reveals.
It is both the beginning and the end—the force they could never tame, so they chose to corrupt it instead.
