SEYFERTS COSMOS Sadia Hakims Official Readers Community

Seyferts’ Cosmos — reader community of Sadia Hakim

Reading Time: 2 min

Seyferts’ Cosmos isn’t just a name—it’s a reflection of the vast, ever-expanding space where words, ideas, and dreams converge. As a writer and poet, I wanted to create a community where my readers can explore the depths of thought, emotion, and imagination.

The name draws inspiration from Seyfert galaxies, symbols of complexity and mystery, much like the stories and poetry I share. This space is more than just a collection of writings—it’s a universe where we connect, reflect, and grow together.

But why Seyferts’ Cosmos? Let me take you beyond this Seyferty world and share the essence of this community.

What Does Seyfert Mean, and Why I Chose This Word for My Readers

Seyferts are active galaxies with very compact yet bright nuclei and characteristic emission lines suggestive of very hot gases in violent motion at the center. Their core is typically highly variable and very bright compared to the rest of the galaxy.

Was I describing your heart and defining your soul? Here comes why part:

We all have a bright core that spirals in the whirlpool of emotions, positive or negative, violent or calm. We humans name it “heart.”

— Sadia Hakim
Like Seyferts, our true power, our true intentions, and our true light reside inside our core; our hearts.

We all are violent storms, and we all are gentle breezes in ourselves. We all are galaxies with our own stars roaming here and there in this cosmos.

Our hearts are white holes as well as black holes. We bury so much in our hearts for good, and we let go of so much to this outside world.

We all are struggling with the spirals of our emotions, overthinking, dreams, expectations, and whatnot!

And just like these Seyferts, our true power, intentions, and light reside inside our core; our hearts.

We all may seem typical and similar in general, but this core makes us peculiar, special, and different from one another. We all may seem ordinary from the outside, but we are extraordinary from the inside, only because of this core.

Since we are all individual galaxies and form a beautiful cosmos together, I decided to call my readers Seyferts. And now when I say, “Welcome to my cosmos, made of art and books, struggles and lessons, storms and zephyrs,” I mean it!
